Albany International have been using the services of Optimech for the past 20 years and their service has always been of the highest calibre. Always flexible, professional and cost effective, they are a pleasure to do business with.

Optimech started working for Komatsu Industries Europe in 2001. By 2003, we mutually agreed a service contract with Optimech and since 2003 we have used Optimech for installations, service and inspection works and maintenance work. Optimech work to a very high standard and all of their engineers also maintain a very high standard of Health and Safety. We would highly recommend Optimech for any installation, service, inspection and maintenance work.

The laser alignment work performed on our lines was professionally executed, and with the minimal amount of disruption to our busy schedule.

The engineers onsite where most professional and followed all the required procedures for the work required, Hot Working and Confined Space.

I want to thank you and your team for the excellent work you have done within our plant over the last 1.5 years to improve the alignment of our finishing lines. Next to your high professionalism we also appreciated very much the high level of flexibility you and your team have demonstrated to fulfil our needs at several times.

Opti-Mech has worked with us aligning web offset printing equipment on three continents – North America, Europe, and South America.  Every project with Opti-Mech has been very successful thanks to your professionalism and knowledge.

We have used Optimech on several projects over the years carrying out Laser Alignment checks on Extruders, Print Presses and Converting machines. Once the checks have been completed and reports received we have also always used them to carry out the required rectifications. The work carried out has always been to the highest standards and we have always seen immediate improvements in the performance of all the machines worked on. For us alignment of all the rollers and sections of our machines is critical to our process and the work carried out by Optimech has proven to be money very well spent.

In 2008, the business took the decision to work with Optimech when relocating precision 5-axis CNC machinery and related P&E from Denmark to its UK based manufacturing plant in Worthing West Sussex.  Optimech took full responsibility for the safe and timely disassembly of equipment in the Danish plant followed by the accurate placement of the key machine components in the UK. 

All targets were met in accordance with the project plan thereby enabling production to be resumed with minimal loss.   In addition to the setting out and levelling of component parts using precision optical alignment techniques, Optimech carried out all electrical wiring within the machines both in Denmark and in the UK.  In 2016, following a period of successful growth B&W took the decision to increase its production capacity and once again called upon the services of Optimech to support the safe and precise movement of machinery in accordance with agreed method statements and timelines.
