A new installation of an embossing line at a company in the north of England.
Following the installation of a new line the customer wanted to complete an alignment survey to determine how the new line had been installed.
On competition of our findings, a full report determining how the machine was installed was produced to the customer. Any concerns about the machine installation brought forward, by producing this report the customer could visibly see what areas needed moving to bring the line in to tolerance.
Some of the reasons for producing this report is that production and engineering management are continually seeking opportunities to reduce waste, lower energy costs, and improve product quality and operational efficiency. Accurate machine alignment can contribute significantly to achieving these objectives by minimising product waste, reducing unnecessary energy consumption, and improving overall machine performance, ultimately supporting higher production efficiency and profitability.
